Confidentiality Policy
The Community Development Venture Capital Alliance (CDVCA) collects data on the community development venture capital (CDVC) industry through its annual survey and other ongoing data collection projects. CDVCA collects a wealth of data on individual funds, their investors, their portfolio companies, financial returns, and social impacts. None of these fund-specific data are shared with anyone without the expressed consent of the fund. These data are collected in order to describe the CDVC industry in aggregate and present industry averages and benchmarks of interest to fund managers, investors, and other industry stakeholders.
- CDVCA will publish and use in a variety of media the following data on individual funds:
- Capital under management
- Investment area
- Investment preferences as per the fund’s own description
- Total dollars invested
- Number of companies in a fund’s portfolio
