CDVCA member and CDVCA Central Fund portfolio investment Bridges Ventures announced that it has won the Social Investor of the Year Award at the 2008 European Venture Capital Journal Awards Dinner on January 28, 2009.

London, United Kingdom-based Bridges Ventures is pleased to be the first recipient of this award in this new category created by the EVCJ for the 2009 awards.  Bridges Ventures is a privately-owned venture capital company with a social mission of achieving a social purpose, as well as financial returns to investors.
